Any idea how to open the base of the Dobot Magician?

Someone from dobot team told me that it is not possible to get the base mechanics without damaging the case. I suspect the top black plastic panel is glued onto an aluminum sheet and covers some screws. The panel at the bottom has four screws under the rubber pads and only gives access to the electronics - one big custom-made board that everything is connected to (motors, sensors, peripherals). It's quite hard to open too. You'd need to use a thin but strong cutting knife to pull that panel. Careful to not damage the board that is mounted on that bottom panel.

That is a picture of the bottom plate. It isn't glued (wan't in the magician I opened). The glued one I referred to is the top black plastic panel (the one where the power button sticks from and joint1 - the base).
